Jin-Ton Bridge Spectacular

Using lighting, audio and effects technology to showcase civic pride of the city, Be Media was commissioned to engineer and specify a recurring night-time spectacular on the historic Jin-Ton bridge in Tianjin, China. The bridge played a historic role in the key 1949 battle, when the city was liberated and the two leading fronts of the army met at the bridge to celebrate their victory.

The concept designed by Shamqo and brought to us by Atlanta based lighting firm, City Design Group, required very specific technology applications. Not only was the spectacular to be viewed and heard from the shoreline, but the moving functionality of the bridge required the control for all of the pyrotechnics, fire elements, lighting and effects to be operable wirelessly.
