Rancho Los Alamitos Visitor Center

Historical meets state-of-the-art at the oldest continuously occupied site in Long Beach, California. Rancho Los Alamitos is on the National Register for its over 1500 years of history. In the early 1800’s, an adobe farmstead was begun there that remains today as the oldest building in all of Long Beach. Now an historical park, the need to improve the facilities has lead the Rancho Los Alamitos Foundation to approach Be Media to design a park-wide media environment to supplement the interpretation.

The design includes park-wide audio carefully concealed so as to not distract from the area, a complete theater and presentation room with full lighting control plus interactive exhibits featuring touch panel displays. Once fully funded, Be Media will be the systems provider as well.
